Modić-Bedeković Manor

Modić-Bedeković Manor

Donja Lomnica, Velika Gorica

The Modić-Bedeković manor, situated at the edge of the settlement on a small hill right under a large old linden tree, is one of the rare preserved examples of the original construction style of this area: the wooden manors of the Turopolje nobility. It was constructed in 1806. The construction style was firmly adhered to, as in similar structures in the area, with commercial rooms on the ground floor and the residential area on the upper floor. The original appearance of the interior has been well preserved. The interior contains a beautiful heating stove, stylistic furnishings and the Modić family tree.
