Zaprešić

This complex consisting of a castle (second category monument), chapel, tomb and outbuildings (thresher, corn and crop storage – zero category monument) are situated in a 20.5 ha park forest in the middle of Zaprešić. The Novi Dvori is a unique example of a preserved complex feudal complex. The Novi Dvori was formed from the earlier Susedgrad and Stubičke feudal estates, and the first owners mentioned were the Zrinski family. Later owners included the Čikulin, Sermage, Festetić and Erdödy families, while Ban (Viceroy) Josip Jelačić purchased the estate in 1852.
